I’ve been fairly dedicated to the training regimen thus far. Admittedly, since I’m coaching the Volusia Team it hasn’t been that taxing to keep up. But I have slacked a bit on cross-training. I need to get to the gym more!
On the fundraising fron… I’ve got another $160 from mailed checks. I need to submit those to the LLS, that brings my grand total to $410, roughly 7% of the way to my goal.
Next week is the Uno’s Dough Raiser. Hopefully a lot of people come to the Daytona Beach Uno’s on November 23-24 with this coupon. 20% of sales will be donated to my fundraiser, so that should be *easy money*. Then I’m doing giftwrapping at the Altamonte Mall.
My last fundraiser in December will be the day after Christmas. We’ll be manning a concession stand at the Jacksonville Jaguars Stadium. I need 40 people to work that booth; are you available?
I sent my November Newsletter out without testing the final draft. I made a mistake, and most of the links in the Newsletter are broken. I am terribly sorry for the careless mistake. Please don’t unsubscribe or unfollow. I promise to do better!
If you have read My Story, you may remember my coworker Bob Stengel introduced me to Team In Training. Unfortunately, his cousin (also named Bob) recently lost his battle with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia.
While we are making great strides in blood cancer research, there are still over 900,000 Americans suffering from this disease.
GAP, now back to it’s old logo is once again donating 5% of sales to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. If you’re doing some early Christmas Shopping this week please bring this coupon with you… you save 30% off your bill, and help stop cancer.
Of course, you can also donate directly to the cause (and help me get to Paris) by visiting www.helpmesavelives.com/donate.
